Terms of Use

Last updated: 7 July 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Fajr Up app and website (the “Service”). By downloading or using Fajr Up, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Fajr Up is an alarm and habit-building app designed to help Muslims wake up for the Fajr prayer through wake-up missions, streaks and reminders.

2. Your account

Some features (such as Fajr Buddies groups) require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Subscriptions (Fajr Up Pro)

  • Fajr Up Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly, 6-month, or 12-month).
  • The 6-month and 12-month plans may include a 3-day free trial. The monthly plan does not include a trial.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple App Store account at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of any free trial).
  • Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings. If you cancel during a free trial before it ends, you will not be charged.
  • Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region and over time.

4. Loyalty rewards

Fajr Up may offer streak-based rewards (for example, discount coupons or a free period) when you reach certain Fajr-streak milestones. Rewards are provided at our discretion, may change, and have no cash value.

5. Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their policies. We generally cannot issue refunds directly.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to break, reverse-engineer, or interfere with it, or using it to harass others in group features.

7. Religious & medical disclaimer

Fajr Up is a tool for accountability, habit formation and wake-up support. It does not provide religious rulings (fatāwā), medical advice, or treatment for sleep disorders. Prayer times are calculated using standard methods and may differ from your local mosque; always verify times you rely on. For religious questions, consult a qualified scholar; for health concerns, consult a medical professional.

8. Availability

We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee that alarms, notifications or features will always function without interruption (for example, due to device settings, operating-system limits, or connectivity). You are responsible for ensuring your device and alarm settings are configured correctly.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fajr Up is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including missed prayers, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date.
